HEWITT LIONS CLUB
The
Hewitt lions Club was chartered on February 8, 1982 with 25 members.
Marvin
Grusendorf is the only remaining charter member.
Since its begining, the Hewitt
Lions Club has
been dedicated to the motto of Lionism "We Serve". The Lions Club has
served the community of Hewitt and its neighbors through its national
and local
programs. A few of the most notable programs are:
. Sight First (eyeglasses for the needy)
. Texas Eye Bank
. Texas Lions Camp at Kerrville, Texas
. High School Scholarships
. Adopt a Highway
. Meals on Wheels
Funds are raised through membership dues and projects supported by the members time and participation. These projects include:

How You Can Be Involved:
Any person of legal majority, good moral character and good reputation
in the
community may be granted membership in a duly authorized Lions Club.
Membership is by invitation and approval by the local club. This is
your
